Job Overview

Houston Bark Park and Daycare is a family-owned and operated establishment with two locations in the Heights and one in the Energy Corridor area. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Kennel Technician.

As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our canine guests. This includes deep cleaning, sanitizing, and performing laundry tasks. You will also be involved in feeding, following detailed instructions, washing bowls, sweeping/mopping, and some dog handling.

Requirements:

  • You must have a genuine love for dogs and be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
  • Attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle all types of dogs are essential.
  • You must be able to work in a moderate noise level environment and have excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with team members.
  • A flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, is required.
  • You must be able to lift 50 pounds.
