About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at Albany Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to lead our pulmonary and renal services.

Job Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and administering various aspects of patient care in our hospital. They will work closely with our Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and other leaders to achieve our department's vision and mission.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Facilitate communication and transitions throughout the acute care stay, promoting seamless care coordination.
  • Mentor professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care, focusing on competent and compassionate service.
  • Spearhead the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services aligned with our hospital's mission and departmental/unit vision.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this role is between $80,151 and $132,249, depending on experience and qualifications.
