Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Merchandise Expert to join our team. As a GM Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and engaging shopping experience for our guests by maintaining a well-stocked and visually appealing sales floor. You will work closely with our inventory management team to ensure accurate and efficient inventory levels, and provide exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Create a welcoming experience for all guests, engage with them in a genuine way, and provide solutions to their needs.
  • Inventory Management: Own backroom aisles, including backstock, for your GM areas, and process all inbound deliveries using the Receive application to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Sales Floor Maintenance: Ensure sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed for guests, and execute revisions, sales plans, and planograms for all GM categories.
  • Product Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve business goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Welcoming and Helpful Attitude: Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for all guests.
  • Inventory Management Skills: Accurately process inventory levels and maintain a well-stocked sales floor.
  • Product Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Physical Demands: Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
