About the Role

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the next generation of cryogenic valves for our lunar program.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cryogenic valves for our lunar program, ensuring high-performance and reliability
  • Lead the design and development of fluid dynamics systems for spacecraft applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test fluid dynamics systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications for fluid dynamics systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in fluid dynamics and cryogenic systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in valve and mechanical component design
  • Knowledge of propulsion and fluid system components, including valves, regulators, and pumps
  • Experience designing parts in CREO and using design analysis tools such as ANSYS and Thermal Desktop
  • Ability to define and support testing of designs, conduct data analysis, and iterate designs
