Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of various inventory-related financial reports
  • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies in inventory, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and accounts payable across multiple sites
  • Assess the appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Support all aspects of the financial closing process to ensure timely completion, including:
  • Preparation of month-end journal entries
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
  • Creation of inventory reports detailing inventory counts, Purchase Price Variance (PPV) changes, and manufacturing outcomes
  • Actively engage in audits, cost reporting, and tax submissions to meet established deadlines

Qualifications:
  • Required: Experience in Bill of Material Cost Rolling
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Inventory Accounting, particularly within an ERP system and manufacturing context
