About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for removing, repairing, and installing various types of pipe insulation, including fiberglass, calcium silicate, and rubatex, from piping systems, ventilation systems, and other components and structures throughout the ship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove, repair, and install pipe insulation, including fiberglass, calcium silicate, and rubatex
  • Work in various work environments, including industrial, marine, and shipbuilding settings
  • Lift 50 lbs., climb, crawl, bend, squat, and stand for 8 hours per day
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in pipe insulation in an industrial, marine, shipbuilding, or petro-chemical environment
  • Ability to work assigned shift as production needs
