Job Summary

We are seeking a PRN CNA to join our team at Givens Home First. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver exceptional care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized care and support to our clients
  • Support clients with their ADLs and IADLs, including ambulation, transfers, exercises, bathing, dressing, grooming, cooking, feeding, toileting, incontinence care, housekeeping, meal preparation, safe transportation, medication reminders, and pet care
  • Offer companionship by joining clients on walks or accompanying them on visits
  • Assist and perform tasks delegated by Campus and Home Care nurses
  • Communicate changes in a client's condition to the nurse on duty
  • Maintain chart documentation and utilize applicable software to do so
  • Always practice safety and infection control methods
  • Protect yourself with proper transfer and lift techniques
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of any PHI per HIPAA requirements
  • Participate in ongoing education and training offered by Givens and/or outside resources as required
  • Always practice within your scope of training, license, and certification, while adhering to all relevant and applicable policies and procedures
  • Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

Requirements

  • Active North Carolina CNA
  • Current CPR certification is nice to have, but not required
  • Must have an active, unencumbered driver's license
  • Must be willing to support Givens Highland Farms and Givens Estates
