Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Encino Hospital Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN license.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
