Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:
- Supervise and delegate nursing activities to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to manage clinical operations and develop care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
- Evaluate the performance of the nursing department and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct regular patient rounds to address concerns and ensure high-quality care.
- Train and mentor nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in long-term care, preferably as an ADON.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois and in good standing.
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment, including PointClickCare.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, staff, and families.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to drive clinical excellence.
