About the Role

VetJobs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's operations by providing exceptional administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter data from various documents, including forms, orders, procedures, reports, and correspondence, into computer systems.
  • Verify prepared copy with original material and identify and correct minor errors.
  • Transmit data electronically and store information on computer storage media.
  • Make revisions to previously typed copy and perform general clerical and typing/input work.
  • Perform a variety of detailed clerical duties related to documents, such as filing, preparing mailings, photocopying, and record keeping.
  • Sort and code incoming documents according to a prescribed breakdown and classification system.
  • File materials in folders or other containers in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Locate files and withdraw material or information as requested.
  • Search files for hard-to-find materials and investigate and take corrective action where required.
Requirements
  • Education equivalent to graduation from high school.
  • Successful completion of validated skills and aptitude tests.
