Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general upkeep and minor repairs within the building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks following a set schedule.
- Review and complete maintenance checklists weekly.
- Perform inspections and necessary repairs or replacements on building fixtures, including smoke detectors, exit lights, and various systems.
- Manage seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow removal and lawn care.
- Ensure kitchen supplies are adequately stocked.
- Maintain cleanliness and supply levels in restrooms.
- Assist in inventory management for cleaning supplies.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
- Participate in staff meetings and required training sessions.
- Maintain compliance with all training requirements.
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and cleaning products.
- Ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members.
- Must pass a criminal background check and possess a valid driver's license.
