Ferguson Warehouse Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Ferguson. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate Warehouse Equipment: Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages, ensuring accurate and timely receipt, verification, staging, and stocking of all incoming material.
  • Technology Utilization: Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
  • Quality Control: Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident-free.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Teamwork: Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic, with the ability to learn our systems quickly.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
  • Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
