Hair Salon Lead

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color of Central California is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cosmetologist to fill the role of Salon Assistant Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in leading day-to-day operations, working behind the chair, and providing exceptional guest service.

Salary and Benefits

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the salon and team
• Daily reinforcement of our strong team environment
• Work with stylists to empower them, assist them in their goals, and show them how valued they are
• Work behind the chair with hair color and highlighting
• Work behind the chair with hair cutting for men, women, and children
• Retail product sales

Requirements

• A desire to keep up with current hair cutting and styling trends
• Willingness to take part in and encourage fellow stylists to enroll in free education provided by Fantastic Sams Cut & Color
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, fun, busy atmosphere
• Valid California Cosmetology license
• Self-motivated, energetic, positive, and goal-oriented with exceptional guest service skills
• Basic computer skills (ability to learn our Point of Sale system and use Google services)
• Previous salon experience
