Hydrocarbon Asset Inspector Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Hydrocarbon Asset Inspector. This exciting opportunity involves inspecting and surveying natural gas pipelines, as well as operating our Advanced Mobile Leak Detection (AMLD) vehicle.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective actions to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and survey natural gas pipelines, identifying potential hazards and areas for improvement
  • Operate the AMLD vehicle to detect gas leaks and conduct site assessments
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of hydrocarbon assets and pipeline systems
  • Experience with inspection and survey techniques
  • Ability to analyze data and identify potential hazards
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Benefits and Compensation:

  • A competitive salary starting at $18.25 per hour, increasing by $0.50 every 60 and 180 days
  • Night shift differential of $1.00 per hour
  • Daily $40.00 per diem for meals and approved expenses while traveling, plus paid travel and hotel accommodations
  • $2.00 per hour travel stipend when staying in hotels
