Job Summary

Chelsea Jewish Lifecare is seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our VNA/Hospice division. As a Music Therapist, you will provide music therapy services to patients and families in their homes or assisted living facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement music therapy plans to meet the unique needs of patients and families.
  • Provide music therapy sessions in one-to-one and group settings, using a variety of instruments and vocal techniques.
  • Assess patient needs and document progress, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Lead group activities in facilities where Hospice patients reside, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music Therapy or a related field.
  • Experience working with patients and families in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel to patient homes and facilities, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
