About the Role:

This position offers a unique opportunity to join the Norfolk Southern team as an Apprentice Signal Trainee. You will be responsible for maintaining and installing signal systems, ensuring compliance with FRA regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and install signal systems, including signals lights, switch machines, and electrical switch locks.
  • Conduct inspections and tests of signal systems, including Automatic Block, Traffic Control, Positive Train Control, cab signal, and interlocking systems.
  • Locate cables, paint, and perform housekeeping tasks on signal housings & equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
