Job Summary

Denver Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Montbello Dental Clinic. As a key member of our community health dental clinics, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform dental hygiene services, including preventative prophylaxis cleanings, periodontal maintenance treatment, and non-surgical periodontal therapy.
  • Prescribe therapeutic agents within scope of practice and collaborate with attending dentists.
  • Administer injectable local anesthetic and apply silver diamine fluoride (SDF) with certification.
  • Complete medical and dental histories, take radiographs, and ensure patients' periodontal and dental exams are up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene required.
  • 1-3 years of direct clinical practice or recent graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program required.
  • Dental Hygienist licensure in Colorado required.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
  • LOCAL-Local Anesthesia certification required.
