The Financial Services Specialist is a key member of our dynamic sales team, responsible for building strong relationships with our members and providing tailored financial solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Process routine financial transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal procedures.
- Establish and maintain member deposit and loan accounts, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Proactively identify and recommend financial products and services to meet members' needs, partnering with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions.
- Meet quarterly metrics and service objectives, driving business growth and executing on key initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on all credit union products and services, completing required compliance training and utilizing available resources to maintain in-depth knowledge.
- Perform account maintenance activities, including updating member contact and personal information.
- Engage in follow-up activities and outbound calls to ensure exceptional member experience.
- Minimum six (6) months of experience in a fast-paced sales or customer service role, with financial services experience preferred.
- Excellent listening skills, with the ability to ask probing questions and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas concisely and logically.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
- Aptitude for learning various computer systems and technology to solve member issues.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification/License: Notary preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour, plus quarterly incentives.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage.
