Position: CT Technologist

Location: Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia

Work Schedule: Friday to Sunday Overnight (7 PM - 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather comprehensive medical histories from patients prior to examinations and prepare them for scans.
  • Adhere to stringent sterilization protocols at all times.
  • Essential skills include: IV Starts, PACS, Contrast, and Biopsies.
  • Proficient in CT Procedures such as Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Aspirations, Biopsies, Brain Perfusion, Drainage, CTA, and Multiplanar Reconstruction.
  • Conduct daily equipment warm-ups and calibrations.
  • Expertise in Multiplanar Reconstructions: EPIC, GE, BLS, and ARRT.
  • Assist physicians in interpreting radiological images post-examination.
  • Operate X-ray scanners to generate computer-aided cross-sectional images, commonly referred to as CAT scans.
  • Provide essential patient care throughout various procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by delivering clear and detailed instructions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must possess an unrestricted, active, current, and full ARRT Certification.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a CT Technologist is required.
  • Must hold an associate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine.
