We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Coordinator to join our team. As a Dishroom Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishrooms, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Job Description

As a Dishroom Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining Dishroom Cleanliness: Ensure that the dishrooms are clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Washing Dishes: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans in a timely and efficient manner.
• Operating Kitchen Equipment: Operate dishwashing and other kitchen cleaning equipment, ensuring that they are in good working condition.
• Stocking Supplies: Stock supplies, such as food and utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars.
• Trash Removal: Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Food Preparation: Perform food preparation functions in the event of staffing shortages or during peak periods.
• Guest Satisfaction: Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work towards increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Sustainability: Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous Stewarding Experience: Previous stewarding experience is required or equivalent training.

Work Environment and Context

This role requires:

• Flexibility: A flexible work schedule, including working on holidays and weekends.
• Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
