Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and provide education to patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, including reviewing medical records, conducting physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance the overall quality of care.
- Current RN licensure in the United States
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in an emergency department setting
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
