Job Title: Donation Attendant

Job Summary:

The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at our Hemet location. As a key member of our donation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our donation center, providing exceptional service to donors, and contributing to the success of our Adult Rehabilitation Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized donation area, ensuring a positive experience for donors.
  • Assist donors in the receipt of donated items, providing a courteous and efficient service.
  • Sort and separate donated materials into designated containers, adhering to our quality standards.
  • Collaborate with TSA PA/Drivers to load donations onto trucks, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of our donation center.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Physical ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75lbs. with or without assistance.
