Job Summary

Pyramid Consulting is seeking a contract nurse specialist to provide utilization review services for a local contract nursing job in Los Angeles, California.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced nurse with a strong background in hospital settings and a passion for utilization review. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a solid understanding of medical terminology and coding principles.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient records to ensure accurate and timely completion of utilization management tasks
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and families to gather information and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment plans
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhanced patient care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans

Requirements

  • California RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Record
  • 2+ years of experience in hospital settings

What We Offer
