Job Description

Senior Helpers - Smithtown is a reputable home care company that provides in-home non-medical senior assistance services. We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Caregiver.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversations to build relationships
  • Participate in clients' favorite hobbies and activities
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Assist with walking, transferring, and other mobility needs
  • Report on clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Requirements:

  • Passion for helping others and making a difference in someone's life
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
