Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse delivers direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, adhering to the relevant scope and standards of practice.
Essential Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Associate's degree is mandatory
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
Licensure/Certifications Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is essential
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is preferred
- ACLS certification is necessary for areas involving moderate sedation
