Aerotek is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team in a Contract-to-Hire position. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating robotic welding cells and performing manual welding tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to set up products for robotic welding.
- Program and operate robotic welding cells to ensure high-quality welds.
- Perform manual welding tasks, primarily MIG welding.
- Inspect, grind, and finish parts to meet quality standards.
- Participate in cross-training and utilize skills in other areas of manufacturing, including press operation, fabrication, or assembly.
- Strong knowledge of MIG welding and robotic welding principles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
This is a fully on-site position in a manufacturing environment. As a Welder Specialist, you will be working in a dynamic team environment with opportunities for growth and development.
