Job Overview

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team in a Contract-to-Hire position. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating robotic welding cells and performing manual welding tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to set up products for robotic welding.
  • Program and operate robotic welding cells to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Perform manual welding tasks, primarily MIG welding.
  • Inspect, grind, and finish parts to meet quality standards.
  • Participate in cross-training and utilize skills in other areas of manufacturing, including press operation, fabrication, or assembly.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of MIG welding and robotic welding principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
