Manufacturing Operations Specialist

About the Role: As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will be responsible for executing various tasks essential to our production processes and engineering activities.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring efficient and safe production processes
- Perform tasks related to processing and packaging specialty chemicals in a batch manufacturing process
- Accurately complete all job-related documentation using software like MS Office, SAP, and LIMS
- Assist with PAG production and utilize the SAP system for various functions
- Maintain general housekeeping practices to ensure a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Basic English language skills, allowing for effective communication and understanding of work-related instructions and documents
- Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages, to perform accurate calculations in the manufacturing process
- Self-motivated and capable of efficiently managing time and tasks with minimal supervision
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment with evolving demands
- Competence in utilizing various computer-based systems, including Microsoft Office, SAP, CPro, LIMS, etc.
- Ability to safely and effectively use respiratory protection equipment and other personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Proficient in the safe operation of fork trucks to perform various functions within the manufacturing process
- Ability to troubleshoot process issues and conduct root cause analysis
- High School diploma or equivalent, and minimum of 2 years of hands-on manufacturing experience
