We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with a focus on delivering safe, effective, and efficient care to patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process changes
- Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Education: Associate's Degree. ADN or Diploma required
- Experience: 0-1 year of RN experience – successful completion of new grad orientation or successful completion of an RN refresher course for acute care nurses
- Preferred licensure or other certifications: National certification in clinical specialty as eligible
- Preferred education: BSN
- Preferred experience: 1-2 years of RN experience
