About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Vehicle Installation Specialist to join our team at Dana Safety Supply. As an Emergency Vehicle Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, testing, and removing 12-volt law enforcement vehicle equipment, including lights, sirens, video cameras, laptops, printers, consoles, transport partitions, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, windshield & side glass, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair 12-volt law enforcement vehicle equipment, including lights, sirens, video cameras, and other electronic devices.
  • Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
  • Remove and reinstall equipment as needed.
  • Work with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless installation and repair processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, such as automotive or marine 12v experience.
  • Knowledge of vehicle wiring and electrical circuits.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Experience with installation of emergency lighting and other equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including accessing confined spaces.
