Room Care Specialist Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Room Care Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that cleanliness and guest satisfaction are upheld in a hospitality environment. This position involves a range of responsibilities including room cleaning, linen changing, supply replenishment, and creating a safe and inviting atmosphere for guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure a tidy and secure environment for both guests and staff.
  • Welcome guests and respond to their needs while respecting their privacy and security.
  • Conduct cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, and washing surfaces.
  • Sanitize bathrooms, restock amenities, and arrange furnishings in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Notify supervisors of lost items, damages, or any suspicious activities.
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous manner.
  • Assist with laundry and other related tasks as required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the uniform policy.
  • Exhibit the physical strength and endurance necessary for demanding tasks.
