Laura Baker Services Association is seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team. As a Music Therapist, you will represent our organization to customers and communities, promoting the well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide music therapy services in accordance with approved standards and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with households, clients, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
- Assess and monitor individual client needs for music therapy programs, developing recommendations for goals and outcomes.
- Track client progress and outcomes, providing data-driven insights for program improvement.
- Serve as a resource to clients and staff, employing various teaching techniques to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Board certification as a Music Therapist is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
As a valued member of our team, you will be eligible for a raise after six months of employment. Benefits, including medical, dental, life insurance, and a 401k plan, are available after 60 days of consistent employment (30 hours per week or more).
