As a Medical Director, you will work closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement clinic policies and procedures, provide direct patient care, and ensure seamless communication and collaboration with healthcare team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of our outpatient primary care clinic, ensuring compliance with VA regulations and policies.
- Provide direct patient care, including ordering diagnostic testing, prescribing medication, and consulting with specialty services.
- Develop, review, and implement clinic policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with VA guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Active and unrestricted medical license in any US state
- Doctor of Medicine or osteopathic medicine degree
- Residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
