Job Summary

As a Class C Driver, you will be responsible for delivering materials and supplies to various work sites, maintaining records of deliveries, and performing clean-up-related tasks to keep the facility neat.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Logistics: Determine the most efficient order of delivery, deliver materials and supplies to various work sites, and maintain records of deliveries.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform clean-up-related tasks, such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming, to keep the facility neat.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Take vehicles for service and fueling, and report mechanical problems to the supervisor.
  • Inventory Management: Keep inventory of and order related supplies, complete forms and logs, and prepare requisitions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience with a combination of driving, janitorial, minor building maintenance, and public contact duties.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of methods, materials, and practices in basic building maintenance, including basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and safe work practices.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a busy environment, and establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
