Job Summary

As a Center Store Associate at Food Lion, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your primary focus will be on the Center Store (Grocery) Department, where you will be responsible for stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelves and shelf tag moldings
  • Stock shelves and face merchandise according to company standards
  • Process customer transactions and handle customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
