About the Role

Citi's Life Sciences Team Lead is responsible for driving the bank's coverage and expansion efforts for disruptor clients in the Life Sciences Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate, manage, and grow new, multi-product and multi-country client relationships.
  • Manage a growing team in delivering the Bank to the clients while developing their skills and capabilities.
  • Drive innovation on the solutions we provide clients through partnerships with product specialists and subject matter experts.

  • Be responsible for Client-level planning, budget and revenue responsibilities.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.
  • Execution of strategic initiatives launched centrally at all levels, including global coordination with other regions.
  • Drive complex multi-product solutions across multiple geographies.
  • Work closely with Credit Loan Management and Independent Risk to ensure the establishment of new credit relationships.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of commercial banking experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of all aspects of commercial banking products.
  • Possesses sound judgment and is creative in providing structured solutions to bank clients.
  • Significant experience with credit decision making authority.
  • Multi-year experience pitching and executing capital markets solutions.
  • Must have a sharp business development focus.
  • Demonstrate innovative and forward-looking approach to new opportunities.
  • Ability to create long-term trust and advisory based relationships with clients.
  • Tangible knowledge of competitors and how to successfully select a target market and position Citi to win.
Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Masters degree preferred.
