Job Summary

Requirements
  • AHA BLS certification is required.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is preferred.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
  • Tech Cert Verification - National certification is required.
  • HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement certification is required.
  • State License 1 Verification certification is required.
  • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) certification is required.
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam certification is required.
  • Competency Exam certification is required.
Work Schedule
  • 36/36 or 36/48 schedule is required.
  • Floating is required.
  • No Call is required.
Additional Information
  • Traveler's permanent residence must be 100 miles or greater from the hospital's service area.
  • General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. Can start the traveler any Sunday that you can complete the compliance documents by the deadline.
  • Please include in the confirmation: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation. Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule if there is a decrease in census.
  • Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession.
