Job Description

SECURITY SPECIALIST OF NORTH TEXAS is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm and Security Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fire alarm and security systems.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Configure Fire Alarm Systems: Our Fire Alarm and Security Technologist will install and configure fire alarm systems, ensuring that they meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: This role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues with fire alarm and security systems, identifying the root cause of problems and implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintenance and Testing: Regular maintenance and testing are crucial to ensure that our fire alarm and security systems continue to operate effectively. Our Fire Alarm and Security Technologist will perform routine tests, clean and inspect equipment, and replace parts as needed.
  • Inventory Management: To maintain an efficient workflow, our Fire Alarm and Security Technologist will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels of service parts, ordering supplies as required, and managing inventory storage.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications: We are looking for candidates with previous experience in fire alarm and security installation, maintenance, or related fields. A strong background in technical skills, including programming and configuration of security alarm systems, is also essential.
  • Physical Demands: As a Fire Alarm and Security Technologist, you will need to handle physical workload, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces.
