Position Overview

Compensation

This position is classified as tipped, meaning the hourly wage mentioned does not account for potential gratuities.

Hourly Rate: $7.25

Key Responsibilities
  • Process drink and food orders from customers or servers, preparing and serving beverages according to established recipes and company standards.
  • Ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages, verifying age through identification and adhering to all relevant policies.
  • Record orders in the cash register, handle payments, and provide accurate change.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the beverage and food menu.
  • Accurately complete sales and inventory documentation.
  • Manage bar inventory by ordering necessary supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Clean and organize bar equipment and supplies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • At least two years of experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with credit card transactions.
  • Experience with computerized point-of-sale systems.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a City of Milwaukee Bartending License.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Exposure to moderate to high noise levels during peak times.
Work Schedule

Shifts may include daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays.
