Job Summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist 1 to join our team. This full-time position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer basic respiratory therapeutic interventions, including gas/humidity therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway management.
  • Establish and manage basic mechanical ventilation with moderate proficiency and occasional supervision.
  • Collect specimens and perform basic diagnostic testing, such as EKG and sputum collection.
  • Display a moderate degree of accuracy in the interpretation of basic diagnostic and monitoring data.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited CoARC respiratory care program.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Basic Life Support from AHA upon start.
  • Licensed Respiratory Therapist and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Work Schedule
