Obstetrician-Gynecologist

As an Obstetrician-Gynecologist at William Newton Memorial Hospital, you will provide comprehensive care to women, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. You will diagnose and treat medical conditions and diseases affecting the female reproductive system, including endometriosis, infertility, and sexually transmitted infections.

• Provide routine gynecological examinations and screenings, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast examinations.
• Monitor fetal development during pregnancy through ultrasound and other diagnostic tests.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and provide counseling and support to patients facing pregnancy-related complications.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception options, and lifestyle choices that promote overall well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Kansas state medical license.
• DEA registration.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
