Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients, adhering to established standards of care, policies, and procedures.

  • Exercise sound judgment and developed clinical skills to implement patient plans of care based on diagnoses in a timely manner.
  • Support department functionality by distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Vocational Nursing.
  • LVN-Licensed Vocational Nurse for California-based jobs.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • 1 year recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills, various medical procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
Work Environment

This position may regularly work with hazardous drugs, as identified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for purposes of USP 800.
