MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a challenging opportunity in Anchorage, Alaska.
About the JobThis 13-week contract offers a unique chance to work with a top healthcare client and gain valuable experience in a critical care setting. As a Mammography Tech, you will be responsible for performing specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in women patients.
Responsibilities- Prepare for and assist the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies.
- Produce high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate.
- Complete patient education regarding the exam.
- Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
- Two years of Mammographic Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Weekly pay and direct deposit.

The estimated salary for this position is $$120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and 8-hour shifts. This amount includes tax-free stipends and travel reimbursements.
