Job Summary

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, coordinate care with other healthcare team members, and delegate tasks as needed.
  • Evaluate patient progress, adjust plans as necessary, and document patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks.
