Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiography Travel Professional for a challenging breast imaging opportunity in New Jersey.
Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Radiography Travel Professional will be responsible for performing mammography examinations following ACR requirements, assisting with breast ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy procedures, and providing immobilization devices to patients.
This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Mammography Technologist and ARRT certification. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong understanding of ACR requirements and MQSA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography examinations on adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
- Assist with breast ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy procedures
- Provide immobilization devices to patients
- Identify patient's films with correct information and mark them accordingly
- Develop exposed x-ray film using processing methods
- Complete patient requisitions with technologist's initials and date
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Licensed Mammography Technologist
- ARRT certification
- Strong understanding of ACR requirements and MQSA standards
Compensation:
This travel assignment offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, based on 40 hours per week and 13 weeks of duration. A tax-free stipend amount will also be provided.
