Emergency Critical Care Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our Emergency Critical Care team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a critical member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical care support to patients in the ICU, including monitoring, recording, and reporting vital signs.
  • Assist with blood work, radiographs, ECGs, and ultrasound requests.
  • Communicate with clients regarding patient updates and discharge instructions.
  • Collaborate with the critical care team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
  • Strong understanding of veterinary medicine and basic disease processes.
  • Calm demeanor in stressful situations and high emotional intelligence.
