About the Role

GardaWorld, a leading cash services and armored car company, is seeking a highly skilled individual to join its team as a Vault Custodian. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a national industry leader in cash logistics.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to train new personnel on proper procedures and policies. Strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining attendance and punctuality calendars, as well as resolving route discrepancies with Crew Leaders.

A key aspect of this position involves ensuring that employees, customers, and public are treated courteously. The successful candidate will also be responsible for verifying bulk money received from the vault, other departments, and external sources.

In addition to these duties, the Vault Attendant may be required to perform Driver/Messenger and/or Crew Leader job responsibilities based on operational needs. They must maintain valid driver's licenses for the types of vehicles they may operate and obtain and maintain all required guard and gun permits.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the Driver/Messengers and Crew Leaders receive the correct orders, schedules, equipment, and money to service clients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys, and schedules.
  • Buying and selling of loads.
  • Verify bulk money received from the vault, other departments, and external sources.
  • Maintain branch activity logs in the absence of on-site management.
  • Ensuring that identification cards, fuel cards, route keys, deposits, moneybags, receipts, daily guide sheets, change boxes, firearms, monies, and other route equipment are collected at end of shift.
  • Move and balance liabilities to prepare route loads for the following days' activities.
  • Performing Driver/Messenger or Crew Leader duties as requested.
Requirements
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • Have all required driver's licenses and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Have a high school diploma/general equivalency diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Obtain and maintain all required guard and gun permits.
  • Demonstrate clarity and proficiency in oral and written communication in the English language.
  • Be able to give clear oral and written instructions and have the ability to train.
