Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the setup and launch of a new assembly line at our Cedar Rapids, IA facility.

• Develop and implement detailed process requirements and necessary tools/equipment for consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with industrial engineering staff to plan, purchase, install, and implement efficient resource use.
• Perform quantitative process assessments and capability analysis to validate production readiness.
• Support trial builds and gather process feedback for evaluation.
• Qualify equipment, tools, and processes in areas of responsibility.

• Minimum of 5 years in a Manufacturing Engineering in an assembly oriented manufacturing setting with progressive responsibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of product conveyance and material handling systems, including robust system design and functional safety.
• Experience with time standards and work instruction generation.
• Experience with the assembly of electro-mechanical products.
• Ability to analyze product flow and generate efficient layouts.
