Job Summary

$10,000 Sign On Bonus

As an EVS Director, you will be responsible for advising and leading all aspects of the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department. You will coordinate the tasks of the Assistant Directors and Operations Managers. You will serve as a liaison between administration and hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the department's financial data and statistics
  • Monitor unit expenditures and develop a comprehensive budget
  • Coordinate housekeeping activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Actively communicate with administration and other hospital departments to drive results
  • Plan, prioritize, direct, coordinate, and supervise functions and activities of the department
  • Establish work standards and workflow to optimize efficiency
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for departmental operations
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies
  • Drive the achievement of facility goals and objectives
  • Exhibit quality leadership in meeting performance plans
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions for department staff
  • Encourage staff to participate in education programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Four year college degree and equal related experience required
  • Three years of housekeeping management experience at a healthcare account required
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data
  • General business acumen
  • Excellent social skills
  • High customer service and quality demeanor
  • Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
  • Ability to apply a participative approach to leading staff, to organize and prioritize tasks, and to develop budgets with a complete understanding of facility needs and requirements
  • Excellent stress leadership skills, administrative and interpersonal, and follow-through (with associates and clients) skills required
  • Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
