Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at At Home Healthcare. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our pediatric patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in evaluating client level of function and determining type of speech or language disorder.
  • Develop and modify plans of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide speech and language disorder services in the client's home as prescribed by the physician.
  • Evaluate client's home environment and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Document client progress and report any changes in condition to the physician and nursing supervisor.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to evaluate client progress and response to treatments.
  • Provide training and education to family members and other healthcare personnel.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current license as a Speech Therapist in the State of practice.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology or Audiology.
  • Basic life support (CPR) certification.
  • Proof of TB screening within the past 12 months.
  • Computer software skills necessary to produce accurate documents and materials.

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 annually.
