We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pediatric Adjunct Faculty member to join our team at Davenport University. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students and contributing to the advancement of our academic programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach clinical courses in Pediatrics, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to create an effective learning environment for students.
- Develop and implement instructional course syllabi and materials, ensuring alignment with the Davenport University Nursing curriculum.
- Contribute to the advancement of academics through understanding the Davenport University Nursing curriculum, preparing instructional course materials, and providing input on textbooks and instructional resources.
- Guide students in their educational processes, referring them for assistance regarding their program/schedules, academic progress, and specialized services within the University.
- Maintain all records, including student/classroom/department records, in compliance with the University Instructional Policies and Procedures Manual.
- Masters Degree in Nursing.
- Unencumbered/Current nursing license.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of three (3) years current professional experience related to assigned clinical practice area of teaching.
- Relevant/Current certifications/licenses as required by teaching assignment.
- Ability to teach 8 or 12 hr. clinical.
- Enjoy working with the public and be able to relate well with diverse students, faculty, and staff.
- Demonstrate a professional manner and attire.
- Demonstrate effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication behaviors.
- Demonstrated effective knowledge and use of presentation, facilitation, and technology skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, analyze data, and read/process written information.
